Alltel Wireless Ranks Highest in Overall Customer Satisfaction with Wireless Retail Service across U.S. According to J.D. Power and Associates

Alltel Wireless is proud to announce that J.D. Power and Associates in its 2009 Wireless Retail Customer Satisfaction StudySM ranked Alltel Wireless Highest in Overall Customer Satisfaction with Wireless Retail Service.
The study measured consumer opinions of their retail wireless sales experience and targeted those customers who purchased a phone within the past six months. The study results measured the customer’s perception of the overall retail experience and of the wireless carrier itself.
“Alltel has always put an emphasis on customer retail satisfaction, and we are proud that consumers have recognized the exceptional retail experience that Alltel delivers,” said Paul Bowersock, senior sales and operations leader for Alltel Wireless. “Our sales force works hard every day to exceed customer expectations and receiving this prestigious honor from J.D. Power and Associates demonstrates the results of that commitment.”
Alltel recently announced that customers visiting Alltel retail locations can purchase a wide range of new handsets including the BlackBerry® Pearl™ Flip 8230 smartphone available in early May. In addition, all Alltel retail locations can assist customers with support issues such as plan changes, adding features, paying bills and changing phones.
Alltel Wireless continues to serve 2.2 million customers and operate in 91 Cellular Market Areas (CMAs) that Verizon is required to divest. Alltel continues to be an industry-leader, providing choice and flexibility with its exclusive “My Circle” feature, providing unlimited calling to and from any 5, 15, or 25 numbers on any network.
