SpinVox Hires Anandh Maistry to Head Asia Pacific Operations

Joins from Avaya to further extend reach of SpinVox global speech cloud services.

SpinVox, the global leader in voice to content messaging, today announced it has appointed Anandh Maistry as vice president and general manager, APAC.

Maistry will be based in Sydney, Australia and joins SpinVox from Avaya, a global leader in business communications applications, systems and services, where he held the position of vice president global accounts, system provider and systems integration organizations Asia Pacific, based in Sydney.

He was previously president and managing director of Avaya Greater China based in Beijing, having been previously vice president channels and business development, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

Prior to joining Avaya, Maistry was CEO of Touchbase Asia Pacific, for the London-based privately-held global technology services company, specializing in contact centres and corporate networks.

He joined Touchbase from Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, a pioneer of contact centre solutions for the enterprise, e-business and service provider markets, where he was vice president channels and market development, Asia Pacific.

According to SpinVox co-founder and CEO, Christina Domecq, “SpinVox has been expanding fast on five continents, having already concluded deals with 16 carriers worldwide. We’ve established a firm base in Australia thanks to our relationship with Telstra and the announcement last week that Optus will shortly deploy our speech to text services. He is a graduate of Sydney University, UTS Sydney and Harvard Business School.
