ATEN Launches the New Touch Screen LCD KVM Switch
Taipei, Taiwan, May 8, 2009. ATEN International, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of advanced communications solutions, launches the new all-in-one KVM switch with a touch screen LCD monitor – KL3116T, part of the ALTUSEN™ Enterprise KVM Solutions line. The KL3116T is an integrated LCD console and KVM switch that offers secure access to 16 servers with dual USB or PS/2 interface, and mounts in only 1U of rack space.
Key features of the KL3116T switch:
Ÿ Touch panel — enables comfortable operation without the need to slide out the keyboard or use the mouse;
Ÿ No software required — No additional serial or USB ports are required to connect the touch panel, simply connect the IT devices for operation;
Ÿ Dual Rail — the KL3116T switch is equipped with an independent slide-out keyboard and an LCD screen with an integrated touchpad;
Ÿ Dual interface — the keyboard, mouse and monitor can be connected to the switch via PS/2 and USB ports.
Ÿ KVMP™ feature — an USB peripheral port that is positioned below the LCD panel allows administrators to connect additional peripherals or to conduct data backup and restore, application and OS patches, and CD-ROM diagnostics;
Ÿ Additional USB mouse port — to ensure user comfort, an additional USB port supports an external mouse;
