Software Ops Releases ID Lock 1.7.2 for iPhone and iPod Touch

Software Ops today released ID Lock 1.7.2, their identity protection solution on iPhone and iPod Touch. ID Lock will encrypt personal information, including various identity cards, credit card numbers and personal information that customers need to carry with them. ID Lock is derived directly from My Eyes Only, and uses the same easy to use UI and some of the same categories of information, but offered at a lower cost.

Scottsdale, AZ – Software Ops the maker of the popular My Eyes Only(tm) personal information encryption application for the iPhone, today released ID Lock 1.7.2 to protect your identity information on your iPhone. ID Lock is an iPhone application designed to secure personal information by password protecting encrypted personal information that includes, various identity cards, credit card numbers and personal information that customers need to carry with them.

Joe Michels the founder of Software Ops LLC says “ID Lock is derived directly from My Eyes Only. ID Lock uses the same easy to use UI and some of the same categories of information, but offers it at a lower cost to iPhone users.” ID Lock uses RSA encryption, built into the iPhone and supported by Apple, to protect customers personal data. The information is protected by a password that prevents others from accessing their important information.

ID Lock is a subset of My Eyes Only, and when a user want to upgrade to the full version they can transfer any data they’ve entered into MEO Free to My Eyes Only by using Aerochive(tm) backup software that currently runs on Mac OS X 10.5. (A PC version is under development.)
