IIMB Annual Alumni Meet “Anusmaran 2009” to be conducted in Hyderabad on 17th May

Hyderabad, May 12, 2009: The IIMB Alumni Association is all set to conduct its annual Alumni meet “Anusmaran 2009” between 16th and 23rd May in 11 cities worldwide. Anusmaran 2009 will provide a wonderful evening to rekindle old memories amongst the alumni, re-calling the heydays at IIMB and bringing the IIMB community of alumni, students and faculty together. Anusmaran 2009 will be conducted in Hyderabad on 17th May ’09 in the Boulder Hills Golf & country Club.

This year the event will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, New York, Hong Kong, London, Dubai and Singapore.

IIMB is very proud of the fact that their alumni spans across various programs since last 33 years. “Anusmaran 2009” will bring together more than 1000 alums this year, says Mr. Sankarshan Basu, Associate Professor- Finance and Chairperson of Alumni affairs at IIM Bangalore.

“‘Anusmaran’ is a platform to acknowledge the contributions and achievements of all alumni. Moreover, it’s a great opportunity for IIMB alumni to meet old buddies, make new ones, rekindle relationship with the campus, engage with students, meet faculty, industry champions and last, but not least, have a great time together. We are looking forward to celebrate in high spirits, making the meet a huge success “, says Rakesh Godhwani, alum from PGSM’04 and Head of IIMB Alumni Association.
The alumni plans to discuss the roadmap of the Alumni activities planned for the coming year and review the activities undertaken during the past year followed by entertainment and interactive fun sessions. Finally, the event will conclude with Cocktails and Dinner. The alumni can take home memorable souvenirs like IIMB T-shirts and mugs. The entire IIMBAA community looks forward to an excellent and successful event.
