Counterpoint Systems to Debut ProFiles Express at Licensing Expo

At the upcoming Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas, Counterpoint Systems will launch a new product designed to help small to mid-sized companies manage licensing agreements and process royalty payments. ProFiles Express is based on the core elements of ProFiles, Counterpoint Systems’ enterprise-level rights and royalties management solution. It combines low cost of ownership with the sophisticated tools smaller licensors and licensees need to manage assets and process payments quickly, easily and accurately.

Counterpoint Systems will be showcasing ProFiles Express and other products at Booth 524.

Until now, sophisticated specialized rights and royalty management software was only available in the form of enterprise-scale applications that, for many companies, are too complex and expensive. “ProFiles Express is an ideal solution for licensors with a limited number of product lines and associated licensing contracts to administer,” said Counterpoint Systems Vice President/Product Management Jon Robinson. “This product provides tools to ensure contract compliance in ways that simply are not possible with spreadsheet applications at an affordable price.”

ProFiles Express employs the same engine for royalty calculations and payments as ProFiles Enterprise. While excluding some advanced, enterprise-level features, it offers unique tools for contract management, royalty reporting and accounting tailored specifically to smaller organizations. The product also has the capacity to grow as the user grows and its licensing needs become greater.
