Highly Anticipated Games Showcased Including: Section 8™ and My Baby™; SouthPeak’s Raven Squad™ Nominated for Best of E3 2009 Awards
E3 Expo 2009

SouthPeak Interactive Corporation (OTCBB: SOPK), one of the fastest growing videogame publishers, announces its titles received critical acclaim and awards at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles that ended earlier this week on June 4th.

SouthPeak successfully showcased many of its upcoming titles with extensive hands-on and producer-led demos, including Section 8™, My Baby™, Raven Squad™, Fast Food Panic™, Roogoo™ Twisted Towers, Sushi Go Round™, Dementium II™ and Brave: A Warrior’s Tale™.

Section 8™, one of the summers most anticipated titles, received rave reviews at the show. The title continued to impress journalists with outlets like GameSpot, IGN, and Playboy spending time at the demo booth and getting their hands on the game. Xbox Live™ has showcased Section 8™ as one of the lead images on its Xbox Live™ Dashboard, which is available to all Xbox 360® users when they log in to their account this week.

“Much more than just the latest save-the-planet frag fest, Section 8 is looking to fix some of the genre’s most notorious fun-halting flaws,” said a representative from GamesRadar. “We can’t wait to see what else Section 8 has planned for the multiplayer masses.”

In addition, SouthPeak is proud to announce its critically acclaimed title, Raven Squad™, was nominated for “Best Strategy Game” of E3 2009 on both 411mania.com and GamingExcellence.com. Winners for each of these awards will be announced next week.

“The response to our upcoming games at E3 has been fantastic,” said Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing at SouthPeak Interactive. “Watching people from the parenting media enjoying our new My Baby titles and the hardcore gaming press savoring fierce shooter battles in Section 8 reinforces the strength of our diversified game portfolio.”

Mr. Iggo continued, “The announcement of Raven Squad being nominated for two E3 2009 awards has energized everyone at SouthPeak and Evolved Games, who put in countless hours developing and marketing this highly acclaimed title. We are honored by these recognitions, which reinforce the quality of our entire diversified game catalogue, as we prepare to start the summer with a series of exciting titles that will continue well into the holidays.”
