The Broadmoor Hotel Extends Stay with Xerox
Guests of the world-class resort and hotel The Broadmoor have come to expect the very finest in hospitality, resort and even business services. That’s why the Colorado Springs, Colo., landmark has signed a five-year contract extension with Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) for managed document solutions and services that extend from the resort’s business centers to nearly 200,000 square feet of conference facilities.
To provide guests with a range of business resources, seven Xerox employees will continue to manage both on-site business center facilities and outgoing shipping services seven days a week. The centers will rely on Xerox’s WorkCentre® Pro 55 and 65 advanced multifunction systems, a DocuTech 75 production printer, and a DocuColor 3535 Copier/Printer for color printing, copying, scanning and faxing.
“The Broadmoor has made a commitment to provide a high level of service and support that guests have come to expect when staying and working at our facility,” said Allison Scott, director of public relations, The Broadmoor. “Xerox’s people and technology have integrated seamlessly with our staff, enabling us to improve our overall efficiency and expand the business amenities we provide our guests and conference attendees.”
As part of the contract, Xerox will also continue to support The Broadmoor during the hundreds of trade shows and meetings held each year at the resort’s conference facilities. Xerox will manage customer printing for all events such as conference programs, handouts and agendas; provide short-term rental services of business equipment; and handle exhibit set-up, maintenance and removal.
“This is a perfect example of working with a customer to become a direct partner in their business,” said Michael Brannigan, president, Xerox North American Solutions Group. “Through managed services offerings and adaptable solutions that meet their specific goals and requirements, we enable The Broadmoor to focus internal resources on other important tasks such as hotel operation and guest services.”
