SAP Certification Validates Symantec’s Capabilities to Use SAP NetWeaver as Integration Platform

Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that its Symantec i3 application performance management solution has achieved certification from SAP for integration with the ABAP™ Stack of the SAP® R/3® Release 4.6c solution as well as SAP R/3 Enterprise Release 4.7 based on NetWeaver® Application Server Release 6.20. The ABAP certification is granted to companies whose solution has undergone rigorous testing and assessment of the installation of the ABAP code to determine optimal integration with existing ABAP-based SAP solutions. The certified integration of Symantec i3 allows SAP customers to lower integration costs by using one common platform, SAP NetWeaver.
