Towers Productions Adds More Talent to Production Team

Becky Cattie Appointed Casting Director

Chicago, IL (July 14, 2009) – Towers Productions, Inc., the Chicago-based producer of factual and entertainment programs, announced today that it has named Becky Cattie as its Casting Director.

Becky Cattie comes to Towers with more than six years experience casting unscripted television programs. Her casting credits encompass major network shows including “Extreme Makeover,” “Farmer Wants a Wife” and “America’s Got Talent,” along with hit series such as “My Fair Wedding,” “10 Years Younger” and “The Simple Life.” Last summer, she relocated from Los Angeles to Chicago and has teamed up with the development department at Towers Productions, joining their efforts to expand the company’s current client base and programming.

Ms. Cattie’s first project as Casting Director is to recruit talent for a program featuring housewives in Chicago. The program is currently under development with Cattie reviewing submissions from Chicago’s most influential women. Cattie said, “The response to the casting call has been fantastic. We’ve received over 400 email inquiries from Chicago housewives. I am sifting through the submissions to find the women who have that unique hook that will set ‘Chicago Housewives’ apart in this popular genre of television.”

Founded in 1989, Towers Productions, Inc. has produced over one thousand hours of factual and entertainment programming for US and international television networks including A&E, Biography, CNN, Court TV (truTV), History, Discovery Networks, Lifetime, MSNBC, NBC, National Geographic Channel, PBS, WGN and The Weather Channel. Among the Company’s signature series are “American Justice” and “Biography” (A&E), “The Final Report” (National Geographic Channel), “Storm Stories” (The Weather Channel) and the syndicated comedy series “Sports Action Team.”
