Internet security specialists SmoothWall today announced the release of Mobile Guardian – a new software filtering client, designed to prevent roaming laptop users from accessing inappropriate and malicious web content. Although some vendors already offer laptop filters, SmoothWall is the first to provide highly accurate, content-based filtering for remote users, who are often more at risk from web threats.
