TAKE Solutions records 52% increase in revenues sequentially

Board approves:

* IP acquisition of two product lines from global supply chain management companies, PSI Software and EntComm.

Chennai, July 31, 2009: The Board of Directors of TAKE Solutions Ltd. [BSE: 532890 | NSE: TAKE], leaders in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Life Sciences products, have announced first quarter results. The company has posted healthy revenues of INR 81.3 Crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as against INR 53.4 Crore for the last quarter ended April, 2009, which is a 52% increase from the previous quarter and PAT increased by 70 % Q-o-Q.

Commenting on the company’s performance Mr. Sridharan Sivan, Managing Director, TAKE Solutions said, “Our results for this quarter are a positive indication towards the improvement in the economy and the IT industry on the whole. Our strategy to focus on developing innovative products towards delivering customer centric needs and expanding in various newer geographies has worked to our benefit and has resulted in our continued growth and in a further addition of 18 clients in the quarter.” He also added “This IP acquisition broadens TAKE Solutions’ product portfolio and adds another dimension to TAKE’s expertise in the Industry.”

Intellectual property (IP) acquisitions

Today, the Board approved acquisition of IP of two product lines from two global supply chain management companies, PSI Software and EntComm. These purchases will enhance TAKE’s product offerings and also expand geographical reach. The purchases are strategic in nature and will augment TAKE’s organic growth. These acquired products are expected to add revenues of USD 4 million in the current financial year and USD 6.5 million in FY11.
