Portland-Area Consumers Experience Nintendo’s Wii Sports Resort on a Simulated Beach Resort

WHAT:
Not everyone can take a vacation this year, but Portland-area residents will be whisked away on a virtual island vacation as Nintendo’s interactive Wii Sports Resort™ Mobile Tour makes a stop at this year’s Bite of Oregon. On Aug. 7-9, attendees are invited to enjoy hands-on demonstrations of the game, which takes place on a simulated island resort oasis.

With 12 resort-themed activities, including wakeboarding, Frisbee™, golf, archery, and Swordplay, Wii Sports Resort provides users with a “staycation” that lasts months and months. Just as the unique motion controls of the original Wii Sports™ fueled a home entertainment phenomenon, Wii Sports Resort gives players an even more immersive experience, using Nintendo’s new Wii MotionPlus™ control enhancements to achieve new levels of precision and fun. The game is available now and is a must-have for anyone who owns a Wii.
