Citilink Communications, located in Apple Valley, MN, formed in early 2008, has spent the last 15 months building the first leading edge WIMAX wireless network in Minnesota and one of the first in the country.

WIMAX is the emerging standard for wireless communications and has been in use worldwide for several years. The initial footprint of the network includes five cities in Dakota County and a large portion of Hennepin County. Citilink serves business customers with High Speed Data (up to 100Mbps) and VoIP telephone services.

“Business customers are pleased to have an affordable alternative to the traditional phone company. They’ve embraced the leading edge technology as a better way to communicate.” says John Huddock Jr. “We have experienced success in the south Metro and Dakota county business community by providing flexible service options for our customers. We intend to replicate the model by expanding our network throughout Minnesota.”
