Santur Selects Kotura for 100 Gb/s Platform

Kotura, Inc., a leading provider of Silicon Photonics products, today announced that it has been selected by Santur as a partner in their 100 Gb/s platform. Using a silicon photonics chip, Kotura’s 10-channel optical multiplexers combine multiple 10 Gb/s channels onto a single fiber output, thereby reducing the packaging complexity by an order of magnitude.

“Santur required a strategic partner for Planar Lightwave Circuits (’PLCs’) who could meet our aggressive market entry requirements.
