Jumsoft updates Money 3.4 to sync with the upcoming iPhone app

Jumsoft today released Money 3.4, an update to their personal and small-business accounting for Mac OS X. Version 3.4 includes a number of improvements, as well as the capability of synchronizing with Money for iPhone. Money allows tracking transactions to and from a user’s wallet, bank accounts, or share trading accounts, budget planning and monitoring the actual outcome, managing bills and invoices, and generating income/expense reports.

Vilnius, Lithuania – Jumsoft, developer of high-quality applications for Mac OS X, took another step forward with its business-oriented applications with the release of Money 3.4 ($39, free to the users of Money 3.3). The new version of Jumsoft’s acclaimed finance management and budgeting tool includes a number of improvements, the most important being the capability of synchronizing with Money for iPhone, another fresh product from Jumsoft.

“We are always open to every kind of feedback from our users and constantly doing our best to take our products to a higher level,” said Algirdas Unguvaitis, general manager of Jumsoft. “However, this update is really special because it provides a link between our biggest hit, Money, and our most ambitious project of the year, Money for iPhone.”

Money was first released in 2003 and has gained wide popularity among small businesses and home users of Mac. Fans of Money appreciate its combination of high usability and effectiveness for finance management. Money allows tracking transactions to and from a user’s wallet, bank accounts, or share trading accounts; making budget plans and monitoring the actual outcome; managing bills and invoices; and generating income/expense reports.

The new version of Money features iPhone sync via Wi-Fi, providing users with the possibility of managing their finances at their desks or on the go with equal ease. Users will be able to download the new Money for iPhone from the online Apple Store for free as soon as it is approved by Apple.

Other highlights of Money 3.4 include improved backup reversion, localizations, and interface. Moreover, minor bugs were fixed, such as in setting the default currency. The new version will also contain expanded documentation, making the application even easier to use.

A free trial copy of Money, requiring Mac OS 10.5 Leopard, can be downloaded from Jumsoft’s website.

Money 3.4 is only $39 (USD), and version 2.0 users can upgrade for only $19 (USD). An upgrade from version 3.3 is free.
