Webinar Reveals Methods for Converting Content From Unstructured Adobe FrameMaker to Structured, Topic-Based Authoring Using DITA

For many years, Adobe® FrameMaker® has been the industry standard authoring tool for technical writers. If an enterprise organization’s publications team creates volumes of technical documentation, chances are there is a great deal of unstructured content in FrameMaker. By bringing structure and automation to the content creation process, authors and contributors can collaborate effectively and repurpose higher-value information products into the myriad of languages and formats customers demand — improving overall content quality, increasing staff efficiency, reducing publishing costs and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

In an upcoming webinar, JustSystems, the largest independent software vendor in Japan and a worldwide leader in XML and information management technologies, and Scriptorium Publishing, provider of expert advice on how to develop, deploy and manage content, will introduce several methods for converting content from unstructured FrameMaker to structured, topic-based authoring using DITA. The techniques described in this webinar range from the tools bundled with FrameMaker to relatively inexpensive third-party tools.
