Toyota of South Florida Goes “Back to School” by Renewing Their Commitment to the Miami-Dade Teacher of the Year Program

This school year, Toyota of South Florida, located in Doral off of state road 836, is continuing their partnership with the United Teachers of Dade by renewing their commitment to the Miami-Dade Teacher of the Year program. For the past eight years, Toyota of South Florida has recognized the dedication of Dade County public school teachers by presenting a brand-new Toyota to each Miami-Dade Teacher of the Year honoree, free of cost.

Patricia Fairclough, the most recent honoree, teaches the second grade at Air Base Elementary School in Homestead. On March 5, 2009, Toyota of South Florida awarded Ms. Fairclough a brand-new red 2009 Toyota Corolla as a symbol of appreciation for her hard work and commitment to education.
