Speech Technology magazine has announced the 2009 Speech Industry Awards for leadership and superior performance.

Recipients were recognized today at the annual SpeechTEK Conference and Exposition which last through Thursday at the New York Marriott Marquis.

SpeechTEK is the speech technology industry’s annual showcase of new products and services. Leading companies from all over the world attend to demonstrate the latest innovations, strategies and applications using speech technology.

Awards are determined by the editors of Speech Technology magazine and are presented to individuals and companies for extraordinary efforts made to increase awareness and acceptance of speech technologies and for outstanding accomplishments in bringing new products and services to the marketplace.

“Speech Technology magazine’s industry awards are presented for accomplishments that truly stand out,” says David Myron, editorial director of Speech Technology magazine. “To be recognized the recipients must have demonstrated real leadership, innovation and achievement.”
