Argogroup Launches Mosaic, New Managed Service for End-to-End Wireless Quality Assurance
Online resource for testing and monitoring services and content in over 50 cities worldwide
Surrey, UK, 07 September 2006 – Argogroup, the leader in user experience optimization for mobile services, has launched Argogroup Mosaic™, a new global managed solution for service assurance and content validation for mobile operators and content providers. Mosaic performs vital role in ensuring the quality of wireless services, testing outbound roaming, validating content (ringtones, music, video etc) and providing billing assurance.
Available immediately to customers, Argogroup Mosaic offers global roaming testing and monitoring, supporting 2G (GSM, GPRS), 3G (UMTS including HSDPA), CDMA and fixed-line networks. The managed service enables mobile operators to test services including voice calls, SMS and MMS, WAP and video streaming from 54 locations worldwide.
According to Thomas Renz, VP of Products at Argogroup, outbound roaming testing is, by its very nature, best offered as a managed service. “Argogroup Mosaic is a critical solution for mobile operators needing a cost-effective way to test voice and content services in-country, ensuring the best possible user experience across a number of geographic locations for their roaming customers,†he explained.
Mobile operators are ever-committed to delivering rich content to their subscribers and, as an increasing number of content aggregators and provider develop their mobile channels, today’s discerning mobile users expect new applications to work first time – and work well. Failure to deliver quality sees users simply looking elsewhere for their desired content or service, seriously impacting revenues and increasing costly customer churn. It is imperative for services to be thoroughly tested pre- and post-launch.
Argogroup Mosaic is built on top of the company’s award winning Quality of Service platform, Monitor Master, and will complement the existing product line for the global market.
“Mosaic will quickly grow to add new types of testing and additional service analysis, leveraging more and more of Argogroup’s technology,†Renz continued. “This will make it a true one-stop-shop for wireless quality assuranceâ€
The Mosaic infrastructure is operated by Argogroup partner company Araxxe (www.araxxe.com), a business process outsourcing provider with an excellent track record in hosting and operating pan-geographical QoS environments built from Argogroup technology.
Renz concluded, “With its strong background in networks, CRM, mediation, billing and service platforms, Araxxe is the ideal infrastructure partner for our Mosaic solution. Its team is deeply skilled in testing and monitoring for revenue and service assurance purposes and, with its infrastructure enabling flawless monitoring service in any point where it has a technical presence, our customers can be assured of a managed outbound roaming testing and content validation service in many, many cities worldwide.â€
