Formscan Forges Agreement With Metastorm Over BPM

Formscan, the document solutions provider led by Chris Haden, one of the document management industry’s best-known entrepreneurs, has reached an agreement with Metastorm, a leading provider of software for enterprise architecture (EA), business process analysis, and business process management (BPM), to become a reseller and integrator of the Metastorm BPM® software suite. This agreement follows Formscan’s acquisition Anacomp in April of this year, and represents a strategic building block in the company’s rapid development and growth.

Formscan now provides its clients with true “end-to-end” solutions, embracing BPM, document scanning, conversion, migration, hosting, management, processing and archiving solutions, addressing today’s critical challenges of business efficiency, security, disaster recovery, customer service standards and regulatory compliance. Formscan solutions also bridge the gap between microfiche storage and digital retrieval, helping organisations to archive documents in a form that will last for decades or even centuries, but remains rapidly accessible when required.
