London, 10 September 2009 – Open Text Corporation, a global leader in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), today announced its participation at the annual IQPC Business Process Excellence in Financial Services event, taking place at Thames Quay, Canary Wharf from September 22nd to 24th.
The event, combining detailed keynote presentations with interactive workshops and informal consultations with key solution providers, will allow attendees the opportunity to learn about real practical solutions and use them to turn around organisational challenges.
Open Text will be sponsoring one of the major sessions of day two, with Adrian Butcher, Director of Value Engineering at Open Text, presenting a one-hour seminar in the stream “Tactical Solutions For Quick Wins” – session B9.
The presentation will be looking at the digitalization of content, specifically “mail in and mail out” and the business transformation that can be achieved through its implementation. Many retail banks still support a lot of these processes with hard copy documents, both internally and in external communications to their client base. Adrian will be discussing the benefits of digitalization including; meeting banking governance and compliance, ease of document accountability, better information sharing across internal departments and critically, delivering better customer service, leading to improved customer retention.
Open Text has worked with clients in the financial services market for over 15 years and has a solid track record, domain expertise and the necessary skills and partnerships to provide the appropriate solutions to meet the challenges financial organisations face.
Adrian Butcher commented: “This event poses a great opportunity for attendees to learn about Open Text’s solutions in Financial Services and other industry sectors and how they have benefited some of the world’s leading banking and financial organisations. Open Text has been heavily involved within this space for some time now and we are looking forward to offering our insight to some of the leading industry experts.”
