Signalion announces its Sorbas Test-UE products being compliant with the March’09 Release of the 3GPP LTE standard. The Sorbas Test-UE now simultaneously supports TD-LTE as well as the FDD mode. Matthias Stege, Head of Marketing, emphasizes “This flexibility enables our customers to use our Sorbas system for both kinds of LTE developments worldwide. That offers cost efficiency and it shortens development time considerably by reusing test frameworks.”
While the LTE standard is gaining ground, Signalion, as a member of the LTE SAE Field Trial Initiative (LSTI), actively participates in turning LTE technology into reality by supporting interoperability among different vendors’ equipment. A majority of operators have started LTE trials and pre-commercial activities now. Such friendly customer trials for LTE mark the final stage in testing the technology before it is commercially rolled out. This means that LTE equipment will perform under conditions similar to those in the market. Signalion supports that market development with a large variety of diagnostic tools & test scenarios for both the FDD and the TDD version of the LTE standard.
Signalion’s up-to-date products and the win of strategic customers around the world show that Signalion is well on-track to support the increasing demand for LTE infrastructure test equipment.
“Signalion has shown the fastest growth in the LTE infrastructure test market during the last 12 months.” Stege proudly states, “This provides an excellent basis for our future success in a competitive market environment.”
