Kodak Celebrates Hispanic Heritage As A Major Sponsor Of Latina Magazine Nation Tour

Eastman Kodak Company, the world’s foremost imaging innovator, will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by participating as a presenting sponsor of the Latina Magazine Nation Tour™. The five-city cultural festival will celebrate the achievements, influence and contributions of the Hispanic community, and Kodak will take part with its innovative digital products to help attendees capture and share memories from the event.

Tour participants will be invited to visit the “Kodak EasyShare Pavilion” to try out Kodak EasyShare digital cameras and printer docks, and receive hands-on demonstrations of Kodak’s innovative V-series dual lens digital cameras, including the V610, the world’s smallest 10X optical zoom camera. Guests can also print, share and upload their Latina Magazine Nation Tour™ pictures using a Kodak picture kiosk. Kodak representatives will also provide visitors with a Kodak picture CD of their shots for future upload to the Kodak EasyShare Gallery ( www.kodakgallery.com).

The Latina Magazine Nation Tour™ kicks off in New York City’s Forest Park Sept. 15-17, with festivals taking place over five consecutive weekends. The events are expected to attract more than 30,000 people, and provide three days of cultural activities such as live concerts, family-friendly games, fashion shows, promotions and sponsor giveaways. After the New York event, the five tour cities and venues include: Humboldt Park, Chicago, Sept. 22-24; Exposition Park, Los Angeles, Sept. 29-Oct.1; Reliant Park, Houston, Oct. 6-8, and Bicentennial Park, Miami, Oct. 13-15.

“Kodak is focused on becoming the brand of choice in an increasingly multicultural marketplace, and that means going directly to consumers and businesses across the spectrum with our products and our commitment to diversity and inclusion,” explained Eduardo Correia, Kodak’s Senior Manager of Multicultural Marketing. “The Latina Magazine Nation Tour™ provides an opportunity to do what we do best: help people create, keep, and share memories and images that are important to them. We’re delighted to be a part of it.”
