Seagate Receives the Green Factory Certificate from the Department of Employee Welfare and Labor Protection
BANGKOK, Thailand—20 December 2004— Seagate Technology (Thailand) Limited, today announced that its Teparuk plant has received the “Green Factory Certificate” presented by the Department of Employee Welfare and Labor Protection, Ministry of Labor.
The certificate was initiated by the Minister of Labor as part of the recent Celebrations on the Auspicious Celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary. It is presented to the factory which passes the criteria.
Seagate was honored for its efforts to maintain a good workplace environment, develop Seagate employees’ quality of life and strengthen relationships between employer and employee.
