Symantec to Webcast Annual Stockholder Meeting

Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq:SYMC) today announced that it will webcast its annual stockholder meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT. John W. Thompson, Symantec’s chairman and chief executive officer, will conduct the formal business of the meeting.

To listen to the webcast, please go to the Web site at least 15 minutes early to register, download, and install any necessary audio software.
