Based on the latest Intel® CoreTM Duo Processor P8700 technology, Windows Vista® Home Premium operating system and a host of ASUS features, the 14” widescreen F83S is a creed apart. A smooth Satin brushed aluminum exterior & infusion technology distinguish it from its predecessors. The ASUS F83Se is generously bathed in satin-brushed aluminum, courtesy of Infusion technology. It is a highly resilient exterior which is scratch resistant and is also capable of maintaining its sheen from day to day use. The ASUS F83Se also features a spill-proof keyboard, which protects vital internal circuitry from accidental liquid spillage. All in all, the F83S offers performance with style.

User-centric Features designed for Effortless Computing

Gone are the days when users have to log-on using a pre-set password via the keyboard. The ASUS Smart Logon represents a whole new approach to access security, with the user’s facial features as the pass-key. The system even learns to recognize the user even while wearing head-gear, or even in low-light conditions. Also featured is the ASUS Express Gate, which is a sub-system which allows users to access their commonly used applications in just a matter of seconds.
