Comodo release free website continuity monitoring service
Comodo, a global Certification Authority and leading provider of Identity and Trust Assurance Management solutions, today announced the immediate availability of SiteMon, a website continuity monitoring service. Comodo SiteMon automatically checks corporate, e-commerce and enterprise websites every 10 minutes to ensure they are up and running and viewable to the public.
The free service sends an http:// request to a chosen URL every 10 minutes and also monitors the web page for the presence of 3 keywords. If these keywords are not detected, possibly due to the website being down, unresponsive or the keywords being removed by accident or sabotage, then the account holder is immediately alerted of the problem via email.
