Owing to the popular demand flowing in from all the ‘DO’ers, TATA DOCOMO has decided to open the contest for 3D, stop-motion or any other forms of animation.
The TATA DOCOMO announced a first of its kind Animation Contest, which started from 18th September 2009 and will stay on till 31st October 2009.
The contest is meant for the entire animator community from India (be it professional animators who are currently employed, or the students who are learning animation), whereby the core idea is to allow use the TATA DOCOMO brand logos and the brand signature tune, to create a 05-60 second animation clip.
However as a result of increasing demand flowing in from all the corners, TATA DOCOMO has decided to open the contest for 3D, stop-motion or any other forms of animation that people are good at!
The philosophy behind the contest seems to be respecting the power of ‘DO’, whereby Tata DOCOMO is felicitating the individual prowess exhibited by the animators, by the way of opening up the brand to them and asking them to play with it.
The winning entry stands to win INR 1,00,000 and also gets a chance to be showcased on national television.
