Easynet Global Services focus on increasing customer satisfaction with new global partnerships and leadership team appointments

LONDON, 30th September 2009 – Easynet Global Services today announce new strategic partnerships and leadership team appointments that further highlight the organisations unwavering commitment to engendering greater levels of customer satisfaction.

Easynet Global Services operate a partner-based model, combining its extensive wholly-owned network alongside selected alliances in different geographies to ensure the most comprehensive coverage providing the best customer experience possible. Easynet Global Services has created alliances with Telstra International EMEA in Africa and Asia-Pacific, Tata in India and TDC in the Nordic region. These partnerships provide Easynet customers with greater flexibility, reduced costs and optimal quality of service. Easynet Global Services is also pleased to announce some new additions and appointments to its management team. Justin Fielder returns to the company in the role of Chief Planning and Technology Officer for the Group and Koen Vanpraet has been promoted to become Global Sales & Marketing Director. Vince Russell joined Easynet as Group Finance Director. On a local level, Phil Mullan has been appointed as UK Managing Director with support from Andrew Sumner as the new UK Sales & Marketing Director. In France Patrick Cason has been appointed as Sales & Marketing Director.

Following three years in BSkyB’s Technology Group Justin Fielder returns to Easynet to continue his 12 years with the group and takes on responsibility for technology and planning activities across the company. Through initiatives like EtherStream™ Local Access and pioneering LLU (Local Loop Unbundling), Easynet has a history of bringing product and solution innovation to market quickly to help customers stay ahead and continuing this legacy will also fall within Justin’s remit.

Koen Vanpraet, now promoted to Global Sales and Marketing Director will lead an integrated global sales and marketing strategy and drive the company’s international marketing agenda. In this role Koen will focus on business development, strategic alliances, sales support and bid management, marketing strategy and will oversee the delivery of all aspects of customer communications.

Vince Russell recently joined Easynet as Group Finance Director, whilst retaining his role as Director of Finance, Technology and Enterprise at BSkyB.
