HTC Brings the World’s Smartest, Thinnest Smartphone Device
to Market: the Cingular 3125

High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC), the world’s leading provider of Microsoft® Windows Mobile®-based devices, today debuted the company’s most innovative and smallest Smartphone to date: the Cingular 3125. Announced at the fall Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment conference, the Cingular 3125 Smartphone from HTC features the latest Windows Mobile technology, enabling people to access all Mobile Office applications, send and receive push e-mail, and browse the Internet – all on a device that fits comfortably in a pocket.

As manufacturer of the first color palm-size PC, the first Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC, the first Microsoft Windows Mobile-powered Smartphone and many other leading devices, HTC has a long tradition of designing and building robust, reliable and versatile devices. The Cingular 3125 Smartphone expands on this legacy to offer the latest technology combined with a cutting-edge, super-slim design that brings the power of mobile computing to a fashion-conscious audience.

“We at HTC are extremely pleased with the Cingular 3125 and believe it represents a substantial advance in the Smartphone market,” said Todd Achilles, vice president of sales and marketing for HTC America. “Thanks to the combination of a sleek design with the powerful functionality of Windows Mobile 5.0, for the first time the capabilities of a Smartphone do not dictate its form or appeal.”
