ACS to re-sell IT automation software to help private and public sector organisations streamline in-house IT function and boost operational efficiency
Lausanne, Switzerland, 6th October 2009: Kaseya (http://www.kaseya.co.uk), the leading global provider of information technology (IT) automation software for IT solution providers and corporate organisations, today announced that ACS Office Solutions has been selected as a reseller for the Kaseya IT Automation™ platform. ACS, which already uses the platform to provide managed IT services for small to medium-sized business customers, is now offering the solution to larger private and public sector organisations, to enable in-house IT departments to streamline their service desk and proactively manage their networks.
Based in Northampton, ACS Office Solutions works with private and public sector organisations to provide best-of-breed solutions that combine market-leading IT products, value-added services and consultancy. Over the last 12 months, ACS has been using Kaseya’s platform to offer a managed IT service, using the integrated web-based interface to manage, monitor and proactively maintain servers, PCs, laptops and network components for customers.
By reselling the platform, ACS can empower in-house IT departments to automate and schedule IT tasks and procedures such as patch management, asset management and software upgrades, without technicians needing to visit every machine to carry out routine maintenance. Continuous monitoring of all machines on the network also means the Kaseya platform will pick up and report on any issues, which can be quickly and easily fixed by the in-house service desk remotely, via the central control panel.
Because ACS is an active user of Kaseya’s IT automation platform, the company can directly demonstrate the working solution on its own network to potential customers, enhancing the sales process and actively showing the features and ease-of-use of the system.
