Berlin, Germany – Game developer syncRage today released Taxi Drive 1.1 a comprehensive free update to their popular taxi crasher for iPhone and iPod touch. Taxi Drive New York is one of those games that is brilliantly simple and provides an awesome amount of fun. Make money as a taxi driver on the asphalt of New York or London.

Taxi Drive enjoys an enormous popularity! Easy to play, very intuitive controls, challenging and really fun: None of this will change! Until now, passengers were only transported over the asphalt of New York, while the player had to avoid an ever increasing number of other vehicles. Now there will be new features and maps, challenging the player in the streets of London!

You can play Taxi Drive against other fast fingered buddies and those aspiring to that. Using your social network (e.g. Facebook) or email contacts you are able to contact friends and invite them to challenge you in playing TaxiDrive. This is handled by the integrated scoreloop module. Scoreloop also saves your best scores into a global highscore list where you can compare your skills with other players all over the world! The enhanced “Taxi-Crasher” is now available soon in the AppStore and includes new challenges and features, which are mostly the result of feedback from the community.

* A new town (London) with 3 new and challenging maps
* New vehicles driving at different speeds (e.g. buses)
* “Danger Times” (e.g. police operations, where you should quickly move to a quiet street)
* Celebrity passengers (pay high tip, but don’t wait long for a taxi)

* Challenge other gamers or friends (scoreloop)
