Award-winning character animator Kiel Figgins leads two-day workshop

Figgins, a video game animator with NCSoft in Austin, Texas, specializes in 3-D animation, and is currently part of NCSoft’s ”creature team” that shapes and updates the multi-player, on-line action game Tabula Rasa™. He describes his favorite type of animation as “exaggerated realism, especially in the form of fast actions and acrobatics.”

The workshop is open to the public and is $25 per day or $40 for both days. Call 954-446-6119 or e-mail ttakach {at} aiufl(.)edu to sign up, or for more information. A model, rig and DVD will be provided to all workshop participants.
