Nokia at TeleManagement World Nice
Nokia is showcasing its service management solutions for mobile operators and service providers at the TeleManagement World (TMW) conference in Nice, France. On booth #94, Nokia will showcase both GPRS Service Autoprovisioning with Nokia’s service management tools and Corporate Customers’ service level monitoring. Nokia’s solutions, together with its expert services for operators, underline the company’s ability to unlock value in mobile networks by systematically raising the quality of end user services in a cost effective way.
“A good example of the importance of service management is with terminal settings,” says Jyrki Holmala, Vice President, Operations Solutions, Networks, Nokia. “Terminal settings must be correct from day one to maximize the increase in data services revenue. In one case example, 88% of the GPRS subscribers of one operator had activated the MMS settings, yet only 1/3 were sending an MMS each week. Nokia’s affordable GPRS service autoprovisioning solution, which can be smoothly integrated into existing operations, helps subscribers easily become users and start creating value both for the users and the operator.”
Nokia’s GPRS Service Autoprovisioning demonstration shows how, by automating the mobile device provisioning process, operators can break down the barrier to highly profitable services, reduce customer service costs and improve the customer experience. For the operator’s corporate customers, the Nokia demonstration shows how to monitor and assure service levels and how this information can be used across the operator’s organization. This consistent flow of information across all parts of the operator’s organization enables timely corrective actions that minimize service downtimes and maximize customer satisfaction.
