Sharp Corporation will exhibit in the Home & Personal Zone of the Digital Network Stage at CEATEC JAPAN 2006. Scheduled to take place from October 3 (Tuesday) to 7 (Saturday) at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture (near Tokyo), CEATEC showcases the latest technological advancements in IT and consumer electronics.

The entire lineup of full high-definition AQUOS will be on display, ranging in size from 37V inches to 65V inches, the world’s largest LCD TV. The lineup will include models made with 8th-generation glass substrates (measuring 2,160 X 2,460 mm)—a world first—manufactured at Sharp’s Kameyama Plant No. 2.

Visitors will also be shown Sharp’s amazing world of high-definition entertainment, including AQUOS Familink that joins the AQUOS LCD TV with the AQUOS HD Recorder and the AQUOS Surround sound system via a digital interface to enable users to easily operate these products with just one remote control. They will also get to experience the Internet AQUOS PC-TV combination that lets users watch broadband broadcasting on a high-resolution screen.
