Sony Ericsson to Offer Cool and Stylish Bluetooth(TM) Watch
MBW-100 Bluetooth(TM) Watch Provides Discrete Control of Calls and Music
Sony Ericsson today launched a stylish new Bluetooth(TM) watch, the MBW-100, designed in partnership with watch industry leader Fossil. The first mainstream Bluetooth(TM) watch with sleek lines, classic looks, and a distinguished presence is the perfect accessory for the fashion conscious person who enjoys technology.
Handle calls with discretion
Crafted from high quality stainless steel with a silver facia, the MBW-100 allows a whole new way of responding to incoming calls in a discrete manner when it is not possible to pick up your phone. When a call comes in, the callers name or number is displayed on the stylish OLED display beneath the watch face. When taking the call is not possible, simply press a key on the watch to send the caller to voice mail.
Keeping more than time
The MBW-100 lets you control your calls and music from your watch and be notified of incoming text messages. The watch also has a clever out-of-range notification to alert you when you are separated from your phone. Additionally this innovative watch makes listening to music simpler by also allowing you to play, pause and skip to the next track in your phone’s music player.
The MBW-100 will be available globally during the fourth quarter of 2006 for $399 USD.
For the past several years, Sony Ericsson has annually introduced innovative mobile phone accessories using Bluetooth(TM) technology. The Bluetooth(TM) Watch MBW-100 joins the family of fun products including the toy remote control car CAR-100 to voice dialing and Auto pairing(TM).
