Dialogue Appoints Development Manager As Company Expands

Dialogue Communications, one of the UK’s leading mobile aggregators, has appointed mobile solutions expert, Simon Bury, to the position of business development manager, as the company continues to expand and broaden its market offering.

Simon Bury, 33, from Leeds, has joined Dialogue following his previous role as integration solutions manager at Orange, one of the world’s largest mobile communications companies and part of the France Telecom group, where he worked in various management roles for over five years. In his position as integration solutions manager at Orange, Simon was involved in managing the company’s messaging and billing platforms for its multimedia products such as text flashes, subscription services and premium sites of the Orange World portal.

Simon also worked closely integrating third party services into Orange and, in this guise, worked alongside payforit.org – a mobile payments initiative, which allows consumers to pay for content on merchant WAP sites and charge it to their mobile phone bills. Dialogue has recently become a Payforit accredited partner with Orange and Vodafone, so Simon will be working on familiar ground with his new team.

“In his role at Dialogue, Simon will be managing the business development department, working closely with the team leaders, developers and the product board to ensure that new solutions are built for future markets, on a solid foundation of robust, scalable and flexible software solutions. Simon will be looking to maintain and evolve Dialogue’s already successful product portfolio and build market-leading solutions to satisfy the demands of all of Dialogue’s customers,” explained Paul Griffiths, managing director of Dialogue Communications.

Simon is relishing the challenges that will lie ahead in his new role and says:

“I’m looking forward to getting deeply involved in the company’s roadmap and making a significant contribution to how the company strategy evolves, utilising the fact that smaller companies can move quicker in certain arenas than larger companies and hopefully beat them to market.

“My key focus will be helping Dialogue move to the next level. Dialogue has proved it has the capabilities to deliver world class mobile data and internet messaging solutions and we are certain that our latest member of the team will support the rapid expansion that Dialogue is currently experiencing.”

Simon’s career high came during his time at Orange, where he was involved in the launch of the first mobile TV service in the UK and, in his future work with Dialogue, he is looking to bring even more innovative solutions to market.

Ends.
