Roamware Named In Deloitte’s 2006 Technology Fast 500 Program
Company grows revenues by 1779% over 5 years
San Jose, CA 26th October 2006 – Roamware Inc, the global market leader in mobile connectivity and roaming solutions, today announced it been recognized by Deloitte’s 2006 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage growth over five years, from 2001-2005. Roamware ranked 113 out of 500 and grew 1779 percent during this period.
In addition to ranking in Deloitte Technology Fast 500, Roamware also ranked as one of the fifty fastest growing telecommunications companies in the Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50. The company is the seventh fastest growing company in the Internet, Media and Entertainment and Communication Category for this region.
Bobby Srinivasan, Roamware CEO, said: “Our commitment to enabling innovation across the wireless industry has been tremendously successful over the last five years. We have been instrumental in the growth of the international roaming market providing solutions across 250 mobile operator networks in over 100 countries. Our new series of consumer and business value added services will transform how people think about their mobile phones, making them an even more integral part of their daily lives. These new services will enable us to maintain our strong momentum over the next five years and beyond.”
“To be successful in today’s increasingly competitive landscape, companies have to be better, smarter, and more innovative than in the past, and the Technology Fast 500 companies are doing exactly that,” said Tony Kern, deputy managing principal of Deloitte’s Technology Media and Telecommunications industry practice. “We applaud Roamware for being among the fastest growing companies in North America.”
To qualify for the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and Silicon Valley Fast 50 rankings, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of their operating revenues. Using other companies’ technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify for these rankings.
