FirstEnergy Selects FileNet P8 and OmniRIM for Enterprise Records Management; FileNet/OmniRIM Solution Provides Integrated Electronic & Physical Records Management

OmniRIM Solutions Inc., the leading provider of Enterprise Physical Records Management solutions, and FileNet, an IBM Company (NYSE: IBM) and a leading provider of Enterprise Content and Business Process Management solutions, announced that FirstEnergy Corp. has selected an integrated FileNet P8/OmniRIM solution to provide end-to-end lifecycle management of its vital business records. With this unified solution, FirstEnergy has centralized and standardized records management operations for its more than 20 million physical records across its facilities.
