XenSource Announces Comprehensive Partner Training Program

Inaugural XenSource University Events in Silicon Valley and Amsterdam Will Provide Advanced Technical Training, Product Information and Market Knowledge to Help Partners Successfully Sell and Implement XenEnterprise

PALO ALTO, CA — (MARKET WIRE) — November 06, 2006 — XenSource, Inc., the leader in infrastructure virtualization solutions based on the open source Xen™ hypervisor, today announced the debut of XenSource University, a comprehensive training program for both strategic business and technical partners. The program is designed to provide XenSource partners with the virtualization market knowledge, product information and technical training needed to effectively sell XenEnterprise™, XenSource’s flagship virtualization solution based on Xen 3.0. Today’s XenSource University announcement coincides with the announcement of the availability of XenEnterprise for Windows for paid pilots and beta enrollment. Already available is XenEnterprise for Linux, and the Windows capable version will be made generally available later this quarter.

The two-day, comprehensive program will occur on an ongoing basis with two events currently scheduled for 2006. The first University will take place November 30-December 1 in San Jose, California, and the second on December 7 in Amsterdam. To obtain the most benefit from the program it is recommended that each partner send one technical and one business attendee.

The agenda will include three tracks:
– General Session – including an industry analyst presentation on the virtualization market, corporate strategy, and customer presentations;
– Business Track – providing lead generation strategy information, XSP assessment services and general XenEnterprise information; and,
– Technical Track – including information on use cases for virtualization, the XenEnteprise roadmap and information on ISV partner
solutions.
