Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that it has maintained its number two market share position in both Service Provider Routing with 16.8 percent and in High-End Enterprise Routing with 26.7 percent for the quarter ending September 30, 2006, according to a report issued by Synergy Research Group. In the Service Provider Routing category, Juniper also maintained its number two market share position in the Service Provider Core, BRAS and Multiservice Edge Routing categories with 33.0, 30.7 and 15.6 percent, respectively.

“Juniper has continued its strong hold on the number two market share position in Service Provider Routing, which they have held for more than four years,” said Ray Mota, chief strategist, Synergy Research Group. “Their fourth consecutive quarter of the number two position in High-End Enterprise Routing demonstrates Juniper’s continued strength in its broad routing portfolio and the ability to deliver on customer needs.”
