Quest Software to Integrate Microsoft Windows PowerShell with Active Directory

Interface to Allow Automation, Application Integration

Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:QSFT) today announced it will be among the first ISV partners to support Microsoft Windows PowerShell, Microsoft’s next-generation command-line and scripting environment. The first Quest product to support and extend Windows PowerShell will be ActiveRoles Server, Quest’s solution for Active Directory-based management of the user lifecycle, including provisioning, re-provisioning and de-provisioning. Compatibility with Windows PowerShell will be the first step toward Quest’s support of Microsoft Longhorn Server.
