Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX), the world’s leading supplier of Consumer Electronics and PC hard disc drives, today announced the launch of a multi-city gaming tour spanning 16 cities across the United States. For the next four months Seagate will bring its exhilarating gaming experience to local malls in cities including: Atlanta, Austin’s Screenburn at SXSW, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Jose, Seattle and Washington DC. The tour will kick off on Friday, November 24 at the Eden Prarie Center in Minneapolis, MN and will feature several daily tournaments with prizes ranging from a Seagate Pocket Hard Drive to one of 12 exciting console or PC game titles.
The interactive gaming tour will feature the world’s most popular gaming consoles and Alienware PC gaming kiosks, for exciting tournament play and to showcase the added benefits of using hard disc drives for the ultimate gaming experience. “Hard disc drives are at the core of today’s interactive and realistic video game experience,” said Rob Pait, director of Global Consumer Electronics Marketing at Seagate. “As gamers demand more and more entertainment from PC and video console gaming, Seagate is there to provide the capacity and horsepower that brings these exciting new worlds to life.
