hakia, the web’s new meaning-based search engine, will be featured at Piper Jaffray’s Third Annual Online Advertising and Search Symposium in New York, on December 6. hakia and Ask.com will be on a panel at 9:45am entitled, “The Established and New Contenders: Searching Beyond Google.” The panel will examine the new technologies that are potentially going to impact the search industry.

Safa Rashtchy, Managing Director, Senior Internet Analyst at Piper Jaffray, will host the event which will be held at the W Hotel on 541 Lexington Avenue. It begins at 8:30am and concludes at 6pm.
