Virtusa Corporation Appoints Jim Francis to Head Banking, Financial Services & Insurance Business

WESTBOROUGH, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Virtusa Corporation, a global provider of IT consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced the appointment of Jim Francis as Senior Vice President of the company’s Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) business. Francis will focus on driving client relationships for Virtusa within this fast growing market niche.

Prior to joining Virtusa, Francis was Vice President of Consulting Services and Managing Partner at Neovera, an IT consulting firm specializing in managed services In this role he was responsible for client consulting and delivery services with primary emphasis on infrastructure consulting and data center outsourcing. Before that, he spent 18 years at American Management Systems, a $1 billion global IT consulting company, where he served as Vice President of the Financial Services Group. In this role, he oversaw strategy, global product management, application development and outsourcing within AMS’ Corporate Banking practice.

He received an MBA in Management Information Systems from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a BA in Business Economics from SUNY College at Oneonta.
