Free Macworld ‘07 Guides for iPod(R) on Mogopop
Popular Hess Events List and The Unofficial iPod Guide to Macworld ‘07 Available as Free iPod Downloads on Mogopop.com
Mogopop.com, the one-stop shop for creating, sharing and downloading rich media iPod content in a flash, now offers two member-published iPod guides for Macworld Conference & Expo, the annual event hosted by IDG at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.
Both guides are free and available to download to iPods via http://www.mogopop.com. Together they offer a comprehensive portable guide to this major annual event for Macintosh fans, users, developers and enthusiasts.
“Mogopop was created so people could create and share fun and functional iPod content,” said Mogopop co-founder Kara Berklich Weber. “These guides for the Macworld conference are just the kind of content we know avid iPod users want to have on the go.”
The guides:
— The Hess Memorial Macworld Events List. Created and managed by writer,
consultant and Mogopop member Ilene Hoffman, The List offers a near-
complete list of Macworld parties, special events, press conferences,
book signings and more. While The List has been available for over 10
years on the Web, supported by sponsors and contributions from users,
this is the first year it is available for download to iPods,
exclusively on Mogopop.com. Named for the late Robert Hess, an
associate editor at MacWeek, The Hess Events List is available at
http://www.mogopop.com/mogos/450
— The Unofficial iPod Guide to Macworld ‘07. Published by Mogopop member
xgamerx, includes an alphabetical list of exhibitors with booth
numbers, local restaurant listings, an Apple “rumor guide,” predictions
for the show and the coming year, and more. The Unofficial Guide to
Macworld is available at http://www.mogopop.com/mogos/444
“For years people have asked for a version of the Hess Events List they could use on their iPods, but it has just been too time-consuming,” said Ilene Hoffman, Publisher of The List. “I’m very excited that everyone who wants an iPod version of The List can now download it from Mogopop.com. I hope to see iPods scrolling the Hess List throughout the show.”
Mogopop’s Web-based tools allow content providers to create a hyperlinked set of pages, with media assets including audio, video, images, text and podcasts, and publish for distribution on Mogopop.com.
