KODAK Computed Radiography Digital Medical Imaging System Earns 2006 ‘Best in KLAS’ Award

The KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 975 System recently earned a prestigious 2006 “Best in KLAS” Award in the computed radiography market segment from KLAS Enterprises, Kodak’s Health Group announced today. KLAS Enterprises is a private, independent organization that provides vendor performance ratings for a wide range of healthcare technologies. The Best in KLAS awards are the result of thousands of interviews with healthcare facilities that rate their technology vendors in 40 indicators such as proactive service and on-time implementation.

The CR 975 System is part of Kodak’s broad portfolio of digital medical imaging devices. The top-of-the-line CR 975 system marries image quality enhancements with excellent throughput made possible by its ability to handle 16 cassettes at a time. It offers noise suppression that enhances visualization of anatomy in low-contrast areas while preserving diagnostic detail. Its innovative design features reliable, rigid cassettes along with an internal central processing unit (CPU) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to prevent downtime during network or power outages.
