ClickJobs.com launches Happy Kumar Ad Campaign

ClickJobs.com, part of the BharatMatrimony group and India’s premium job portal, has unleashed an aggressive marketing campaign to strengthen its brand equity among job seekers and employer community. As part of the strategy, the company has launched a creative ad campaign centered on ‘Happy Kumar’, a fictional character.

‘Happy Kumar’ is a complacent employee who thinks he’s made it in life and needs to do no more, oblivious to the job opportunities available and being urged to check out the burgeoning job market online.

Commenting on the ad campaign, Mr. Michael M. Bala, Business Head, ClickJobs.com said, “We have taken a disruptive approach from the clutter of other Job Ads in the market, we have used a very positive tone. There are plethoras of opportunities for a job seeker today. The ad focuses on an inactive jobseeker who could benefit from the opportunities available. It is a differentiated campaign with positive tone.”

“At ClickJobs, we have a strong technology background coupled with an aggressive sales team across the country. The company is rapidly growing and certain strategic tie-ups will soon be in place to keep the momentum going”, he added.

The ad has been created by Network Advertising, Mumbai, and Starcomm is the media buying partner. ClickJobs.com has allocated a marketing budget of Rs. 7 Crores for the next 3 months. The ad campaign, which started with a teaser campaign, is currently aired on the following channels – Times Now, NDTV 24 X 7, HBO, AXN, PIX, Star & Zee Network, CNN IBN, Head Lines Today, and certain other channels.

Currently, ClickJobs has 8.5 lakh jobseekers resumes which are accessed by more than 1000 employers. Most of the resume database is less than six-months old. The site is free to candidates posting their resumes. There are over 45,000 jobs from IT, BPO/ITeS, Pharmaceutical, Telecom / Banking & Financial / Insurance / FMCG industries available on the site.
