Insurance Auto Auctions Opens in Denver

Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., a leader in automotive total loss and specialty salvage services in the United States, today announced the opening of a 27-acre facility in Denver, Colorado. The greenfield development, centrally located just northeast of downtown Denver, is IAA’s first location in Colorado and is regionally significant for the market coverage it will provide in the Rocky mountain region. The facility allows IAA to service insurance industry suppliers throughout the state of Colorado, complementing area coverage from IAA’s existing locations in Utah and New Mexico.

“During the past year we’ve aggressively identified and acquired strategic locations where IAA can best expand its national footprint and the Denver facility is an important addition to our national presence,” said Tom O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer of IAA. “Through our continued expansion, more vehicle suppliers across the country now have the ability to benefit from the services IAA is providing on a local, regional and national scale.”

The Denver facility offers IAA’s full complement of services, including its Run & Drive® auction, indoor vehicle inspection areas and office facilities for on-site insurance customer personnel. In addition, it will offer the Company’s I-bid LIVEsm bidding platform, enabling live auction Internet bidding.
